Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for the 6th Singapore Rehabilitation Conference, taking place on 14th and 15th February 2020 at the Singapore EXPO, MAX Atria.

The theme for this upcoming conference is “Rehabilitation: The Continuum of Care Through Our Patients’ Journey”. Thus during this conference, we hope to explore with you the stages our patients go through as they recover from a period of illness and the many advances in rehabilitation treatments at each stage.

As such, the conference is centred around three major tracks: Neurological/Stroke rehabilitation, Cancer Rehabilitation and Geriatric/General Rehabilitation. Our expert faculty will discuss the latest exciting developments ranging from the acute stage rehabilitation in the Intensive Care Unit to the profound community rehabilitation initiatives in the chronic rehabilitation stage.

We will also be exploring recent trends such as the use of technology to address the swelling demand from an aging population on already stretched rehabilitative services. The conference will allow our local rehabilitation practitioners to share relevant practices amongst institutes at all levels, whether a large tertiary care hospital or well-run day rehabilitation centre. The collaborating between local and regional colleagues is an eye-opening experience to be shared and enjoyed at this conference.

Join us also for the instructive selection of pre-conference workshops on 13th February 2020. Participants will learn meaningful and practical skills for everyday rehabilitation practice.

Finally, do explore our beautiful city of Singapore. Not to be missed are the nostalgic charms of heritage areas such as Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam. You will be amazed at the rich multicultural heritage of our wonderful city. Also, indulge in our local hawker cuisine at famous food centres such as Old Airport Road and Maxwell Road. Few places in the world can boast of such delicious food with varied ethnicity (Think of eating Malay Satay, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Indian Briyani all at one table, and accompanying it all with the traditional Peranakan dessert of “Chendol”)!

We look forward to seeing you at our conference on 14th February 2020 and sincerely welcome you to explore our vibrant city!

The 6th Singapore Rehabilitation Conference is now co-located with the 3rd CAREhab Conference and Exhibition.
Expecting over 2000 regional attendees rehab physicians, therapists and allied health professional, the joint conference organisation between Society of Rehabilitation medicine Singapore and CAREhab will guarantee you yet another year of insightful learning for professionals in the field.
